Training staff at La Aurora International Airport to avoid the (FocR4T) that affects bananas and plantains

Delegates from the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Food, and the International Regional Organization for Agricultural Health trained the staff of La Aurora International Airport to ensure the effectiveness of prevention measures and identify points for improvement to prevent the entry of the Fusarium oxysporum cubense Tropical Race 4 (FocR4T). The Vice Ministry of Agricultural Health and Regulations reported that the meeting was used to socialize the importance of complying with the measures within the framework of the Law for the Protection of Plantain and Banana Crops. These laws establish the prevention measures corresponding to the country's airports.
