Suppliers and shipping companies do not recommend transporting durians from Thailand to China by truck since it bears a high risk. All drivers and products need to take a test for Covid-19, and sometimes customs clearance is closed without prior notice. Thus durians might rot, waiting for these procedures.

The route for the truck is as follows: Thailand ( Nongkai)- Laos -Vietnam- China. There is no need to change containers, but tests for Covid-19 and customs clearance are needed. It takes about 6-8 days for the Chinese customs clearance, and the cost is approximately USD 5,000 if there's no delay since the fee is charged per day.
