Turkey bans exports of organic medical grade garlic

The global Covid-19 pandemic has increased the demand for organic garlic that is used in medicine production due to high resistance characteristics of this specific garlic type against Covid-19.
Growers from the region of Aksaray, Turkey had earlier made contracts with buyers in Russia however, the ministry of agriculture has decided to ban the exports in order to retain sufficient quantities in the country.
