Turkey imported 4.3 kmt of cheese in the first half of 2020

Turkey has imported 4.3 kmt of cheese in the first half of 2020 for an import value of 14.8 million USD. The import volume has increased by 74% compared to the same period of the previous year.

However, Turkey is still strong in cheese exports, having exported 28.3 kmt of products in the first half of 2020. The country has generated around 100 million USD of export revenue. Feta and mozzarella cheese are among Turkey's main exports in cheese.
