Turkey's legume exports have increased dramatically in 2020

Turkey's legume exports have increased from 137 million USD in the first 6 months of 2020 to 207 million USD in the same period of 2020. The country exported 260 million USD of legumes in 2019 in total and in 2020, it is expected to surpass this figure comfortably.

Iraq was the top export destination for the Turkish legumes followed by Sudan and Germany. Chickpea, white beans, and red lentils are the main legumes exported by Turkey.
