Turkey's pistachio exports to Israel have taken a hit in 2020 as the market demand in Israel has declined due to the Covid 19 outbreak. However Turkish pistachio suppliers still enjoyed a profitable year thanks to the booming domestic demand as a result of the people spending more time in their houses and purchasing more pistachios as healthy snacks. Most suppliers report record-high turnover numbers thanks to the spike in domestic demand.
