Turkey's Southeastern Anatolia region exported USD 21 million 609 thousand of dried fruit to 62 countries in January

Dried fruit exports of USD 21 million 609 thousand were carried out from our region to 62 countries. Compared to the same month of the previous year, foreign sales increased by 16.8%. On the basis of country groups, the highest exports were made to the European Union countries with USD 10 million 841 thousand, to the Middle East with USD 2 million 456 thousand and to the USA with USD 2 million 453 thousand.

The country to which the region exports the most was Germany. Among the most exported products from our region, dried apricots ranked first with USD 8 million 713 thousand, pistachios were in the second place with USD 8 million 226 thousand, and dried figs were exported in the third place with USD 1 million 652 thousand.
