Turkish and Moroccan Tomato is in High Demand in the United Kingdom

The European Commission states that tomato production in the EU will decrease by 3% in 2022, with the decrease in greenhouse production due to rising energy costs. Turkey and Morocco, which supplied 67% of the tomato imports of the EU member countries in 2021, are expected to be the leading countries in imports in 2022. The United Kingdom is one of the largest tomato importing countries in Europe and is seeking alternative supply markets, which makes Turkey and Morocco ideal markets to supply.
