Turkish egg producers have been receiving delegations from Saudi Arabia and South Korea in recent weeks. In 2020, Turkey's egg exports to Iraq were banned, and Turkish exporters have been looking for new markets since then. Recently, interest in Turkish chicken eggs has started to emerge in the Saudi Arabian market, and producers expect the exports to start within the next few months to this country. Additionally, South Korea emerged as a potential new destination for Turkish eggs. However, due to the transit time via sea freight, the main potential product explored to be exported to this market is liquid chicken eggs.
