Turkish export of cotton has increased in September of 2021 by 53% compared to August. The main market of Turkish cotton is in Asia including Pakistan, Vietnam, Japan, and South Korea with increasing demand. The US cotton is not enough to cover the demand in those countries, therefore they have started to source from Turkish suppliers. With the increased demand, an increase in the prices is expected as well. However, the continuing decline in the Chinese demand is expected to keep the prices at bay.
