Turkish Grain Board will not increase cereal grain prices in January 2022

Turkish Grain Board announced to continue selling wheat for bread, bread flour, barley, and corn at December 2021 prices: Bread wheat sales (No: 2) at TRY 2,650 per MT, bread flour at TRY 185-200 per sack, barley at TRY 2,050 per MT, and corn at TRY 2,500 per MT as in the previous months. It has also been stated that its aim is to cope with food inflation effectively and continue supplying raw materials to suppliers at affordable prices. Hence, the prices of processed products, including pasta made of soft wheat, are expected to remain steady in January.
