Chilean Salmon Pioneers Lead the Way With Fresh Coho Salmon Entry Into China

Following the signing of the Protocol on Inspection, Quarantine, and Veterinary Health Requirements for aquaculture products from Chile to China, the National Fisheries and Aquaculture Service (Sernapesca) confirmed the accreditation and certification of fresh Coho salmon exported to China. Two Chilean companies have successfully completed the initial exports, sending 2.3 metric tons (mt) and 5 mt of fresh Coho salmon, respectively
