90% of Ecuadorian shrimp supply is shipped as whole shrimp, also known as HOSO (Head On Shell On). The remaining 10% refers to tails (HLSO: Head Less Shell On) and end products with aggregated value (i.e. peeled & deveined, butterfly cut, etc.)
