UK dried grape import from Turkey decreased in 2021

The UK's import volume of dried grapes from Turkey has decreased by 20% in 2021. However, the decrease isn't a significant change in the market, as the import from other markets such as Chile, Greece, and South Africa remained relatively the same. According to the suppliers, the main reason is that many dried fruits are still in the stocks as the UK increased the import volume significantly after the outbreak of Covid-19. The Demand in 2022 is expected to increase as the existing reserves are to be depleted.
