Ukraine starts watermelon season

First Ukrainian watermelons from Odessa region are already available at the domestic market. Producer prices are fluctuating around $0.93/kg, but retail prices are lower at around $0.89/kg. As usual, first suppliers try to take the highest prices at the start of the season, but for the next two month, prices will fall extremely low to $0.15-0.35 per kg.
