United Kingdom, the second most important market for Argentine wines

Consolidated data from 2019 show that the United Kingdom was the second most demanding destination for Argentine wine exports, totaling 14% of the total volume exported.

Out of the 45.5M liters, 26.8M liters were bottled wine and 15.7M liters were in bulk. In the past ten years, Argentine wine exports to this destination increased by 19.6% in volume and 9% in value.

As for grape and other grape-elaborated products (table grapes, raisins, and concentrated grape juice or must), Argentina does not have a share in the United Kingdom, so the new tariff reduction being enforced as of January 2021, is a major opportunity to introduce the products into the market.
