Vietnam black peppercorn prices steadily rise

Black peppercorn domestic price in week 38 has been slightly up at 3.4-3.57 USD/kg (77,000-81,000 VND/kg). Chinese buyers have increased their purchasing before the long Chinese national holiday. The export in September is generally slow and the current supply is less, but farmers are not willing to sell if the price expectations is not met, so the price is forecasted to continue its uptrend.
