Vietnamese Meat Imports Surged by 28% YoY in Volume, 24.5% YoY in Value from Jan-24 to Apr-24

In Apr-24, Vietnam imported 57.18 thousand tons of meat and meat products valued at USD 111.6 million, an increase of 12% year-over-year(YoY) in volume and 11.4% YoY in value. Vietnam's meat and meat products were mainly imported from markets such as India, Russia, the United States (US), Poland, South Korea, etc. Except for Russia and the US, the volume of meat imported from the other markets increased compared to the same period in 2023. From Jan-24 to Apr-24, Vietnam imported 228.72 thousand tons of meat and meat products, valued at USD 456.96 million, an increase of 28% YoY in volume and 24.5% YoY in value.
