Vietnam Customs reported that in 2023, Vietnam imported 716.89 thousand tons of meat and meat products from 57 markets worldwide, valued at USD 1.43 billion. This marked a 5.4% year-over-year (YoY) increase in volume but a 3.9% YoY decrease in value. India stood out as the largest supplier to Vietnam, providing 160.66 thousand tons valued at USD 476.44 million. This represented a 6.1% YoY increase in volume but a 1.4% YoY decrease in value.
