Vietnam Takes the Highest Market Share in Taiwan for Chinese Cabbage in 2022

In 2021, South Korea's Chinese cabbage held a market share of more than 50% in Taiwan; in contrast, Vietnam dominated the market in 2022. According to the local importer in Taiwan, they still prefer South Korean-made Chinese cabbage, but if the price goes too high, they will look to Vietnam for alternative suppliers. The average CIF price is estimated to be around USD 9-11/15kg box, if the price of South Korean Chinese Cabbage is over this range, they will start importing from Vietnam.
