Vietnamese Watermelon Exports to China Officialized with New Protocol in Dec-23

Vietnamese watermelons are officially exported to China following the signing of a protocol during Mr. Xi Jinping's Dec-23 visit. The agreement between Vietnam's Plant Protection Department and China's General Administration of Customs resulted from a high-level visit by the General Secretary and President of China. Previously, Vietnam's watermelon exports to China were primarily unofficial, posing risks. This protocol marks a crucial move toward stabilizing and promoting the official export of watermelons.
