Vietnam's Squid and Octopus Exports Surge in Jan-24, Driven by South Korea and China Markets

In Jan-24, Vietnamese export revenue from squid and octopus reached USD 62 million, a 45% year-over-year (YoY) increase. South Korea was the largest importer of Vietnamese squids and octopus, with a value of USD 26 million, an increase of 67% YoY. Japan followed with an import value of USD 13 million, and China and Hong Kong had a USD 7 million import value, showing growth rates of 19% and 151%, respectively.
