Watermelon local prices reaching all-time low

One kilo of watermelon in Morocco is now sold by farmers at an unprecedented low value of 0.06 USD due the huge supply compared to demand. Many farmers are complaining that such price does not cover 30% of the production cost and the harvest cost. It's now feared that the product will be given for free to get rid off to avoid more losses.
