Wheat milling was the highest in 7 years in Argentina

The highest number for wheat milling was reached in the 2010/2011 campaign when 6.82M tons of wheat were processed. During the 2019/20 campaign, the activity reached the highest value in the last 7 years by processing 6.13M tons.

In relative terms, milling on wheat production continues slightly above 30% (total processed over total produced), maintaining a similar level in the three previous seasons.

The current proportion is yet far from the average of the 2010-2016 seasons when close to 50% of the production was processed. The current values are much closer to the processing levels of the 1999-2008 period, with average milling of 33.5% of the total production
