Contrary to the seasonality and to the yield loss this year, wheat prices fell for the second straight month in Brazil, down 1.5% in December according to Cepea/ Esalq Institute. In the year it appreciated 49.8%, much ahead the Brazilian 'Real' currency depreciation of 28.5% against the US dollar.
