Fresh Pink Shrimp Prices Dropped by 3.8% WoW in the Italian Market

In the Italian market, specifically Rome, the prices for fresh pink shrimp caught in the Tyrrhenian Sea decreased by 3.8% week-over-week (WoW) in W20. For shrimp sizes 30 to 60U per kilogram (kg), prices dropped from USD 12.45 to 14.08/kg (EUR 11.50 to 13.00/kg) in W19 to USD 11.37 to 13.53/kg (EUR 10.50 to 12.50/kg)in W20. This decline is due to the regularization of catch volumes, which has increased the product's availability in the market.
