Until October 2020, Peru exported 2,597 mt of frozen yellow potato for a FOB value of FOB US$ 5,927,438. These figures reveal a notable increase from the 151 mt exported in the same period of 2019 for a value then of FOB US$ 398,663.
The main destination of these shipments was the United States, for US$ 4,783,447 which represent a 81% share of total exports. Followed by Spain with US$ 501,433, Chile with US$ 311,152, Japan with US$ 126,103, Canada with US$ 113,129, Australia with US$ 50,510 and Italy with US$ 41,664, among other recipient countries of our native yellow potato from the Andes.
