Zimbabwe's wheat yield expected to double this year

The Ministry of Agriculture of Zimbabwe has announced that the production yield of wheat for this year is expected to double in comparison to last year's yield due to an increase in government support to local farmers. The harvesting and marketing of wheat have officially opened in Zimbabwe on the 10th of September, after increasing plantation to 44,399 hectares and expecting a yield of 200,000 to 220,000 metric tons.
