Value Chain of Egyptian Mangoes 

The export market of Egyptian mangoes is divided into three segments:

• Tier one-main producing companies farming and exporting own mangoes and represent the most significant share of the exported mangoes.

• Tier two small and medium enterprises also farm their products, but the rest goes to the local market.
  

• Tier three represents small farmers, usually contracted with traders, which then take over export and post-harvest procedures.
