What are the International Coffee Organization (ICO) Indicator Prices?

The International Coffee Organization (ICO) Indicator Prices are spot or cash prices quoted in the market for coffee that is more or less immediately accessible, or available within an acceptable time frame. It describes and tracks the four main types of coffee available in the international market, such as Colombian mild Arabicas, other mild Arabicas, Brazilian and other natural Arabicas, and Robustas.

ICO indicator prices, which are published daily by the International Coffee Organization, represents and tracks the four main types of coffee available in the international market: 

  1. Colombian mild Arabicas
  2. Other mild Arabicas
  3. Brazilian and other natural Arabicas
  4. Robustas

These indicator prices represent spot or cash prices, quoted in the market for coffee that is more or less immediately available, or within a reasonable time span.
