The production of Egyptian mangoes bounced back after setbacks in 2021. Hot weather actually favored mango production in Egypt, thus creating an oversupply. Also, high temperatures caused earlier harvest of mangoes. Another bump was the EU's lack of demand due to the Russia-Ukraine war.
