According to SIAP, in 2021, six states produced 81% of the cucumber national production in Mexico, for which the two most important are Sinaloa(33%), Sonora (18.3%), and Michoacan (7.8%)

Sinaloa, Sonora, and Michoacán were the states with the largest harvested area (2021), with 3,401, 1,969 and 1,765 hectares, respectively, that is, 21.6%, 12.5% and 11.2% of the national total. While Querétaro, San Luis Potosí and Coahuila had the highest average yield, with 262.7, 237.5 and 157.9 tons per hectare.
Regarding the value of production, the state of Sinaloa generated 2,714 million pesos (35.3%), followed by Sonora with 1,631 million pesos (21.2%) and Morelos with 423 million pesos (5.5%), being the total value of the national production of cucumber of 7,692 million pesos.
