The wheat harvest is progressing in the country at different rates and with distinct challenges among the states, according to TF Agroeconômica. In Rio Grande do Sul, the crop is practically finished, with over 92% of the areas harvested and an expected volume below the estimate by official bodies. The production is being worked on by the market at around 3.5 million tons, while the quality remains irregular, marked by good physical parameters but limitations in gluten, strength, and stability.
