The 9th Survey by the Brazilian Association of Rural and Agricultural Marketing (ABMRA) on Rural Producer Habits shows that concern over climate change is becoming established among Brazilian farmers and ranchers. "86% of producers believe that extreme events, such as heavier rains, prolonged droughts, and higher temperatures will have some kind of impact on the production of their properties in the coming years and decades," the organization said in a statement.
