REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman conveyed that the government is distributing food aid to flood-affected areas in Sumatra. He emphasized that the handling is carried out in a structured manner through collaboration between Bulog, the National Food Agency (Bapanas), the Food Task Force, and the support of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri). Amran explained that the aid sent includes large supplies of rice and cooking oil for Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra. “These are our brothers in West Sumatra, North Sumatra, Aceh, who have suffered from flooding.
