As for pigs, the slaughter reached 1,408,008 heads, equivalent to a 2.7% year-on-year increase. The production of dressed meat in this segment reached 152,904 tons, consolidating an upward trend in the sector. Sheep totaled 3,103 heads slaughtered, with a 19.3% growth over twelve months. The production of dressed meat reached 55 tons, a figure that represents a 27.2% year-on-year increase.
