Turkiye: EU geographical indication application for Delice Salt

A European Union (EU) geographical indication application has been made for Delice Salt, which has 84 minerals obtained from natural spring water coming out of 1,300 meters in Kırıkkale. The salt, which has entered the world literature with its natural structure free of microplastics and heavy metals, is in high demand in 11 countries. The geographically indicated salt, which is produced in the Delice district of Kırıkkale and obtained from the spring water coming out of a fault fracture at a depth of 1,300 meters, draws attention with its natural structure and rich mineral content.
