Expert: digitalization reduces risks in agribusiness

The implementation of digital solutions allows for a reduction in production costs by 15–20% while maintaining and even increasing crop yields. According to forecasts by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), global grain trade in the 2025/26 season (July 1 – June 30) will grow by 3.2%, to 499.5 million tons. Russia acts as a leading exporter of wheat, holding a share of about 20% in this market. To ensure food security, including for a key product for itself and the whole world, the Russian agricultural sector is undergoing a technological rearmament phase, one of the mandatory conditions of which is digitalization.
