The teams of the Yalova Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry are continuously conducting road control activities across the city in the framework of the fight against foot-and-mouth disease. In a written statement on the subject, it was noted that foot-and-mouth disease, which has been detected in different regions of our country and Yalova, is a highly contagious and epidemic disease that can cause serious economic losses for the livestock sector. The statement emphasized that it is of great importance to conduct vaccination efforts against the SAT-1 type foot-and-mouth virus in a timely and complete manner, as well as to strictly monitor animal movements.
