Gangwon Agricultural Technology Institute conducts on-site education for information-based farmers at Gangneung strawberry farm.

(Gangneung=Yonhap News) Reporter Yang Ji-woong = On the 1st, the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Agricultural Technology Institute conducted an on-site education for about 40 members of the Gangwon Information Farmers Association at a strawberry farm in Yeongok-myeon, Gangneung City.

This education was led by Jeong Eun-jeong, the representative of the "Uju Strawberry Farm," who achieved excellent results in this year's informationization competition. She shared strategies that are of practical help to farm operations, including smart management and the direction of development for experience farms, as well as processing and marketing strategies.

Research Cooperation Division Chief Jang Eun-ha said, "On-site education plays a very important role in enhancing the management capabilities of farmers and expanding sales channels," and added, "We plan to continue on-site education that shares excellent farm cases and can increase the competitiveness of farmers in the province."
