The harbor and fishing village modernization project is a core policy of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries to counter the disappearance of fishing villages, aiming to modernize the entire fishing village through comprehensive regeneration, including village improvement, living environment enhancement, and tourism infrastructure reinforcement. Major projects include the promotion of new vitality in fishing villages, development of clean national fishing harbors, and general agricultural and fishing village development.
