Greenhouse producers were supported in the fight against the tomato moth.

The State Fund "Agriculture" (SFA) disbursed 457 thousand leva (456,994 leva) under the scheme "Assistance for Compensating the Costs of Agricultural Producers Related to the Implementation of Measures under the National Program of Measures for the Control of the Tomato Moth - Tuta absoluta Meyrick (Lepidoptera)." Support was received by 238 greenhouse producers. The funds were transferred more than two weeks ahead of the scheduled date – December 16, 2025, in accordance with the approved instructions. The period during which the producers could apply under the scheme lasted from May 15 to October 14, 2025, and by October 31, applicants had to submit reports on the purchased and applied products and plant protection products for controlling the tomato moth.
