Ahead of Christmas and New Year in Ukraine, a rise in food prices is traditionally expected within the range of up to 10%. This was stated by a member of the Economic Discussion Club, Oleg Pendzin, as reported by UNIAN. The price increase will primarily affect what Ukrainians place on the festive table: meat, eggs, and dairy products. "In the second decade of December, we will see a gradual small increase in prices. What you will place on the festive table — eggs, dairy products, meat — will increase first. It may jump in price by about 7 – 10%, and then decrease," Pendzin said.
