Bitlis's Güroymak District Governor Mehmet Zahid Uzun conducted inspections at the construction site of a modern slaughterhouse facility initiated by the municipality to meet the district's needs. During the visit attended by Güroymak District Governor Mehmet Zahid Uzun and Güroymak Mayor Eşref Mutlu, technical teams provided information about the ongoing construction work. Güroymak Deputy Mayor Mehmet Eşref İnal stated, "For years, our butcher tradespeople have been constantly requesting the establishment of a slaughterhouse and an animal market in our district. We believe this service is a need for the region. The facility, built on an area of 21 thousand square meters, consists of a slaughterhouse building of 560 square meters. Once completed, the slaughterhouse will provide services in comfortable and hygienic conditions, capable of slaughtering 50 small animals and 8 large animals daily, meeting the district's needs.
