The pace of soybean planting for the 2025/26 season is below that recorded in the previous season. This is indicated by surveys from the Center for Advanced Studies in Applied Economics (Cepea). According to researchers, this scenario is a reflection of the irregular distribution of rainfall across much of the national territory over the past three months. In the South of the country, excess moisture has still been limiting access to the crops.
