Pushing forward concrete actions for environmental restoration and responsible land management, the peasant community of Colca, along with the technical team from the Regional Directorate of Agriculture of Junín and other local authorities, installed forest seedlings in three hectares. The activity carried out had the full support of the Agrarian Agency of Chupaca, the District Municipality of Colca, and the Subprefecture, as well as the entire commune. The installation work was carried out by technically opening pits of 40 x 40 cm, accompanied by the incorporation of organic fertilizer to ensure moisture retention and strengthen the rooting of the plants. This intervention is part of the activities for the National Forest Week and the Regional Forest Month.
