Poland's Chief Veterinary Inspectorate has finalized the renegotiated template for the Veterinary health certificate for fresh chilled or frozen beef, and the Veterinary Certificate for slaughter cattle exported from Poland to Algeria. This development paves the way for the export of goods that meet the requirements outlined in these documents to the Algerian market. The approval of 16 plants for export and the opening of the Algerian market for meat is expected to boost the beef market. The exported animals must be born and bred in Poland, while the meat exports can come from animals born in the EU, but reared and fattened in Poland.
