Price of fattened cattle: see how the market closed the week

The physical market for fat cattle ends the week maintaining the pattern of business in much of the country. According to analyst Fernando Henrique Iglesias from consultancy Safras & Mercado, the largest slaughterhouses still signal a position of relative comfort in their slaughter schedules. "However, the expectation is for a good demand in December, with the domestic market counting on good consumption indicators, while exports remain heated, with the return of North American demand for Brazilian beef," he says.
