Purchase prices for milk have fallen to a one-year low.

Slow demand for finished products, low prices for exchange commodities, and the influx of imported raw milk into Ukraine are contributing to a weakening of milk-raw material prices, reports analyst of the Milk Producers Association, Georgiy Kukhaleishvili. As of November 25, the average purchase price for extra-grade milk was 16.30 UAH/kg excluding VAT, which is 95 kopecks less compared to the previous month. The price range for this grade in farms varies from 16.00 to 16.80 UAH/kg excluding VAT. The higher grade on average costs 16.10 UAH/kg excluding VAT, which is 90 kopecks less compared to the previous month. Prices for higher-grade milk range from 16.00 to 16.30 UAH/kg excluding VAT. The average price for first-grade milk was 15.90 UAH/kg excluding VAT and decreased by 75 kopecks compared to the previous month. The minimum price in farms was 15.80 UAH/kg.
