RS concludes barley harvest with high productivity

The Conjunctural Report released by Emater/RS-Ascar this Thursday (4) indicates that the barley harvest in Rio Grande do Sul is nearing completion, favored by "dry days, high temperatures, and low relative humidity", conditions that, according to the bulletin, "accelerated maturation and allowed for the quick and uniform removal of the crops". The productivity recorded so far has been considered compatible with the potential of the crop in areas managed with adequate management. The crops still in the field are concentrated in the Campos de Cima da Serra, where the cycle is later, and are expected to be harvested by the first half of December. The Classification and Certification Management (GCC) of Emater/RS-Ascar reported that the harvested product "met the required parameters for malting".
